Overview


Thank you for considering West Michigan Lutheran. We look forward to the privilege of being an important part of your child’s educational future.

A WMLHS education develops in students a lifelong love of learning, personal integrity, responsible citizenship, and the opportunity to know their Lord better, helping to provide the foundation for a productive life. Graduates leave here prepared not only for continued education at the finest colleges and universities, but also with self-confidence derived from the interdisciplinary experience that defines WMLHS. Although students depart our campus on graduation day, the spirit and values instilled in them remain strong, bonding them to their friends and teachers for life.

General Policies

WMLHS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, or national and ethnic origin.

To be eligible for enrollment, students must score on grade level and complete the application process. The School does not provide enrollment to students whose special educational or physical needs cannot be met by our existing programs, services, or staff.

Our Admissions / Enrollment process is:

  1. Apply for admission by contacting the school office at (616) 455-2200 or email office@wmlhs.org
  2. Complete online Financial Aid application, if desired
  3. Receive & complete online Tuition Agreement
  4. Attend Orientation in late August
  5. Start classes!

New Students


Our tuition rates are:

  • $5,200 – Grades 7th – 8th
  • $6,700 – Grades 9th – 12th

Fees, Credits, & Financial Aid

  • A $50 application fee is due with your admissions application
  • A $100 Books & Technology fee will be due upon enrollment
  • Members of our Association congregations may be eligible for a additional tuition credit of $840.00.
  • Please inquire at the school office for details
  • Generous Financial Aid grants are also available – see Financial Aid information to apply

Application & enrollment steps:

  1. Complete the application by contacting school office at (616) 455-2200 or email office@wmlhs.org for enrollment paperwork
  2. Receive notification of acceptance
  3. If desired, apply for financial aid during the enrollment process
  4. In Mid-June, complete your Tuition Agreement & select a payment option online
  5. Attend the August Student Orientation

WMLHS uses TADS, a 3rd party service, to handle our financial aid applications and payment. When you click the TADS button below, a new window will open and you may begin the WMLHS Application process.

Returning Students


Thank you for the privilege of continuing to be an important part of your child’s educational future.

You will receive a continuous enrollment form from the office to verify information.

Tuition

Our tuition is:

  • $5,200 – Grades 7th – 8th
  • $6,700 – Grades 9th – 12th

How to Re-Enroll

  1. Receive notice from school office (March)
  2. If desired, apply for financial aid during the re-enrollment process
  3. Receive & complete your Tuition Agreement & select a payment option online
  4. Attend the August Student Orientation

Financial Aid


GUIDELINES:

  • Full-tuition grants are not available.
  • Grants range from $500 to a maximum of one-half of a year’s tuition
  • Financial aid applications are considered only after a new student has been accepted
  • In separated or divorced families, all parents or guardians must submit information
  • Financial aid is only available if you submit a U.S. tax return.
  • All families receiving aid must re-apply each year

*If you are need financial assistance, beyond an awarded grant amount, please contact the Office (office@wmlhs.org) to arrange a meeting wherein your specific need may be addressed by the financial aid committee.

When you log in you will first set-up a username and password. This will allow you to save your information and return at a later date prior to submitting it. OTHER SOURCES OF FUNDING:

While WMLHS is committed to making a christian education accessible to all admitted students, available funding is finite and we cannot provide full-tuition grants. Low-interest educational loans may however help bridge the gap and be available from 3rd party lenders. Please note that WMLHS has NO relationship to the listed lenders, nor do we receive compensation from the below listed lenders.
